A glitch-filled session – eventually abandoned.
I had to leave my main Macbook Pro at the Apple Store yesterday, and had a royal beard upgrading my older 2008 Macbook Pro to OS X Mountain Lion. All that installing of updates, drivers… it’s just so boring and frustrating. I tried to load up Champagne Dividend from the project backup drive, but it just kept crashing Logic. WHY? Sigh… I hate technology.
The SH-101 is making a weird whiney noise, which I don’t like one bit. I’ve emailed Pete to see if he has any ideas; I’m just praying its not fried. Add to that the fact that Jules Maxwell came down to record some Wurlitzer but the output isn’t working. We just had a cup of tea, and were getting ready to record it by sticking some mics in front of the speakers when my kids came home. That was most definitely the end of that.
