Ramshackle Crow live at The Bedford, 23rd October 2013

Tonight we played four songs to a very respectful crowed in The Bedford, a delightful Shakesperean theatre venue in Balham, London… our first gig is done and dusted. (Arguably Maurice and Steve Macartney played the first gig, on a boat somewhere in Belfast Lough back in the summer as they played A Thousand Years from the album, but I’m claiming it for this one).

It was a lovely night and the other acts were really great. I just wanted to post an email from my great friend and inspiration Jules Maxwell which I received on my return home:

Dig in deep with this trio.
There is potential there.
Play hard and often.
Allow it to reach that other level of knowing – the songs and each other.

Perfect way to finish the evening (along with a nip of Ardbeg whisky with Jez and Lee).

And so on we go. Big thanks to Tony Moore for putting us on the bill.
