Steve: “This synth belongs to David Holmes. He kindly let me use it while I was over doing some recording on a project we are doing together.
It’s quite a rare little beast, and the character of its analogue strings sound is that it is really ‘buzzy’. I loved the vibe and did a single take straight through Champagne Dividend which just seemed to work near the end. It sits like a swarm of wasps just underneath the rest of the synths, doing the job of just unsettling the whole thing a little.
