Maurice has been in tweaking lyrics – great! He added new verses to one provisionally titled “Tennis Courts Close…” (part of the first line) while we try to get a real title. Love the visual ideas – this could be good.
Musically the track is very sparse – inspired by From a late night train by The Blue Nile, though it doesn’t sound much like it. I love the banal, empty, wintery suburban beauty of the whole thing.
