We’re using my project management system Basecamp to run this project, normally reserved for dealing with more technical client projects, but actually great for working remotely on an album. We can trade lyrics (and edit each others work without risking a bollocking for destroying it), upload track snippets and keep track of comments and suggestions for each one.
I uploaded a bunch of lyrical ideas to get the ball rolling, and let Maurice know they were there. Let’s see what becomes of them, and what he adds to the party.
