Steve: “I met Pete on the AIR Pocket Symphony Tour 2007. An early memory was of him stripping a Korg MS-20 between soundcheck and a gig, sorting out some problem in the old school way, wearing a torch on his head like some electronic miner.
He transpired to be a top guy, and a wonderful technician. He looks after all the vintage gear of the mighty Jerry Dammers from The Specials. I’m also privileged to have him just up the road in Crystal Palace where I can drive at night to drop off some machine that needs some love”… which happens with alarming frequency since starting to work exclusively with vintage kit.
