Instant “Wham!” – such an 80s box. Its actually totally underrated in my opinion. The dry kick and snare are spot on for punchy 80s grooves. We only ended up using it on Day to Remember to get an extra bit of click into the kick drum, as most other sounds on other tracks were covered off by the more classic 808 and 909 machines. Still, if you want a cheap and cheerful replacement for a TR-909, you could do a lot worse than get one of these – lots of fun!
